A graduate of Amity School of Architecture and Arizona State University, Aviral brings a unique blend of global perspective and local insight to his work.

His professional journey began at A Sharma Associates, where he laid the foundation of his architectural career. After earning his Master’s in Urban Design from ASU, he spent several years with Nelsen Partners in the U.S., contributing to large-scale commercial, residential, and urban projects across Arizona, Texas, and Utah. His work there was marked by a commitment to design excellence, sustainability, and human-centric urbanism.

In 2024, Aviral returned to New Delhi to rejoin A Sharma Associates, bringing with him a wealth of international experience and a renewed vision for the firm. At the heart of his work is a passion for resilient, sustainable cities and socially engaging architecture. He leads projects with a focus on design innovation, project management, and technology integration, helping the firm evolve in a rapidly changing urban landscape.

Known for his meticulous attention to detail and collaborative spirit, Aviral believes that architecture is not just about buildings—it’s about creating spaces that foster community, connection, and well-being. Outside of work, Aviral enjoys long discussions on geopolitics

With hands-on experience in executing She led the acclaimed Moxy Hotel, Nepal from concept to completion—earning praise for fitting a 101-key hotel into a compact site without compromising design integrity. Her ability to anticipate design challenges early and her growing influence in concept planning have made her a trusted voice within the team.

A certified yoga instructor and avid hiker, Kusum finds balance in nature and mindfulness. She thrives in the conceptual and detailing phases of design, where creativity meets precision. Her vision for the future includes embracing emerging technologies like AI and 3D visualization to elevate design outcomes. He’s a fan of shows like Friends, The Walking Dead, and Two and a Half Men, and when it comes to food, he’s happy with anything that doesn’t bite back. Outside the studio, Pratibha’s creativity extends to dressmaking, embroidery, and exploring traditional Indian cuisine—interests that reflect her appreciation for craftsmanship and cultural heritage. Though architecture came into her life by chance, it has become a space where her skills and passions align. 

Curious, engaging, and thoughtful, Urja brings grounded perspective to the studio’s design process. Urja is most energized during the planning phase—where creativity meets practicality—and she thrives on balancing design aspirations with real-world performance. Her dream superpower? X-ray vision for design and construction documents, so she can instantly spot and resolve clashes between concept and constructability. 

Outside the studio, Urja finds joy in hiking. Her favourite foods? Pizza and pasta—simple, satisfying, and full of character, much like her design philosophy. For Urja, architecture is about shaping human experiences through intentional spaces. Whether it’s a serene hotel lobby or a vibrant public square, she believes in the quiet power of design to influence how we feel, connect, and live.

Dedicated, passionate, and honest, Daksh plays a key role in ensuring the studio’s financial and administrative systems run seamlessly. With a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy, he supports smooth project execution through efficient resource management and operational oversight. 

Daksh’s favourite part of the job is achieving financial accuracy, and if he could choose a superpower, it would be the ability to instantly solve complex challenges on the spot. Outside of work, he enjoys listening to music. His go-to comfort food? Kadhai paneer and yellow dal. His dedication and financial precision have made him an indispensable part of the ASA team.

Disciplined and multitasking, Pooja plays a vital role in keeping the studio running smoothly. As an Administrative Assistant, she brings a strong sense of organization and a passion for managing day-to-day operations with efficiency and care. Pooja takes pride in continuous learning—mastering Microsoft tools and even exploring AutoCAD to better support the ASA team. Her favourite part of the job? Being the go-to person for office rules and processes, and helping colleagues navigate the administrative side of ASA’s studio life. 

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and painting, and her favourite comfort foods are noodles and pizza. Pooja’s natural ability to guide others and her love for working in a disciplined, time-bound environment make her a perfect fit for the administrative role.
